Your Answer for an Affordable EV

The Volkswagen ID.2all is Volkswagen’s way of saying, “Hey, we heard you like affordable electric vehicles, so we made one for you!” Here’s what we know so far:

  • The ID.2all is set to launch in Europe in 2025, so mark your calendars!
  • With a starting price under 25,000 euros, it’s like a Black Friday deal on wheels!
  • This little EV is one of ten new models that Volkswagen plans to launch by 2026, so they’re really going all-in on electric.
  • It’s designed to be as spacious as a Golf but as affordable as a Polo, so you can fit all your friends and still have money left over for snacks.
  • The ID.2all will be the first ID model with front-wheel drive, built on Volkswagen’s latest MEB Entry platform. Who needs all-wheel drive when you’ve got style and affordability on your side?
  • Front-wheel drive is typically more affordable and simpler than all-wheel drive, so you’re not paying for anything you don’t need.
  • All in all, the ID.2all is expected to offer a good balance of space and affordability, which is like finding a unicorn in the world of cars. Get ready to drift into the future with this one!

Hamilton: Mercedes Only Hope for Saudi GP Victory is a Miracle and a Few Broken Cars

Lewis Hamilton is not feeling confident about Mercedes’ chances in the upcoming Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He believes that their only chance of winning is if the top six cars retire from the race. Looks like Mercedes’ strategy is to wish for a miracle and hope that the racing gods will intervene.

After a disappointing season in 2022, Mercedes had hoped for a fresh start in 2023, but the first race in Bahrain was a disaster. Hamilton and his teammate George Russell finished fifth and seventh, respectively, which is a far cry from the dominant performances we’ve expected from Mercedes over the years. It’s almost as if they forgot how to make a fast car.

But Hamilton is not one to give up easily, and he’s calling on his team to make some bold decisions and big moves to close the gap with their rivals. Maybe it’s time for Mercedes to think outside the box and develop unconventional solutions. Who knows, maybe they can attach a couple of rockets to the car and hope for the best!
